Submission Guidelines

Please send a synopsis and your manuscript in full or a synopsis and the first three chapters (minimum 50 pages).

Don’t forget to write your name and contact details on the cover of the manuscript, including telephone number and email address.

We accept manuscripts via email at an extra charge of 14p/page. Please do not send disks.

Your manuscript and synopsis should be printed in black Times New Roman 12, double-spaced with usual indents. We accept manuscripts printed on both sides of the paper and encourage everybody to always use both sides of the paper for many good reasons. Please enclose a self addressed envelope with the appropriate postage paid for the return of your manuscript. If you don't want the manuscript back, there is no need for a SSAE. We are sorry we do not currently return children's literature manuscripts. Therefore, if you wish to submit a children's literature or teenage literature manuscript, please do not enclose a SSAE and do not expect the manuscript back.

If unsure of the right fee, please call us on 01928796576 or email us at lorena@danielgoldsmith.co.uk and we will provide an accurate quote based on the number of pages or number of words in your manuscript. Alternatively, submit your manuscript by post to Daniel Goldsmith Associates, PO Box 301, Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 9BF and we will send you an accurate, no obligation quote by letter. If you do not wish to proceed with the service, we would return your manuscript in the SSAE (if enclosed) or dispose of the manuscript safely.

No letter or phonecall is required prior to sending a manuscript.
