Submission Guidelines

Please send a synopsis and your manuscript in full or a synopsis and the first three chapters (minimum 50 pages).

Don’t forget to write your name and contact details on the cover of the manuscript, including telephone number and email address.

We accept manuscripts via email at an extra charge of 12p/page. Please do not send disks.

We will present the manuscript to the most appropriate reader of our team. We are a very young company, still building our team. Therefore, if we don’t have an appropriate reader for your work, we will try to find a freelance reader from our list of contacts. One way or another, you can rest assured your work will be treated in the best manner.

Your manuscript and synopsis should be printed in black Times New Roman 12, double-spaced with usual indents. Please enclose a self addressed envelope with the appropriate postage paid for the return of your manuscript. If you don’t want the manuscript back, there is no need for a SSAE.

No letter or phonecall is required prior to sending the manuscript. We welcome unsolicited manuscripts, so please be assured your work won’t top up the famous “slush pile” simply because we, at Daniel Goldsmith Associates, don’t have such a thing as a “slush pile”.

Please enclose a covering letter about anything you think would be helpful for us to know about yourself and your text, as well as any specific directions for the reader.
