Manuscript Assessment

Submit a synopsis and three chapters of your work or the whole manuscript and we will read it carefully, write a detailed report and send it back to you. Please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope if you want us to send the manuscript back to you. If you want us to send you the report only, there is no need for a SSAE. However, we highly recommend you to keep a copy of your work for yourself, as we cannot be held responsible for things lost or damaged in the post.

You will receive our detailed report in no longer than 3-5 weeks. This is one of the shortest waiting schedules in the UK literary consultancy market. The report will contain an overview of the whole work, structure, plot, characters, locations, as well as a technical approach to writing, narrative voice, pace, tone, point of view, consistency of style throughout the book. We won�t forget about the relevance of the title/titles and, finally, we offer our suggestions on the marketability of the project and the next steps to be taken, including recommended agents and publishers. Manuscript Re-assessment

If you decide to consider any of our suggestions presented in our assessment report, we would be glad to re-read it for half the initial fee and provide you with a second (and, most of the time, final) report. Market Assessment for International Writers

We provide this service to non-UK authors who have already published their books in English and are willing to promote, distribute or publish their books in the UK. Please submit your published book together with a synopsis and any reviews or any relevant information that might contribute to the market score of the project in the UK. Our reports will contain solely notes on the marketability of your book in the UK. If we consider it worth a proper look from an agent, we will offer you our free agent submission service.

It is a tough job to find an agent to represent your work. It�s a lot harder than most first time writers would expect. But that�s what we�re here for. We�re here to help you convince a good agent to represent you in front of a good publisher, so your books get published and sold. It makes a world of difference for an agent to receive your manuscript together with a professional recommendation from literary consultants.

It�s unlikely that you will find an agent straight away and it�s even more unlikely that you will find one on your own.

But it�s more than likely that your book will eventually get better and will turn into a valuable if not great piece of work if the potential is there. No time to waste then, we will make sure that you find out in real time about our decision to recommend you to an agent. We are an independent company, so we won�t privilege any agents or publishers. Our choice will be based exclusively on the theme and quality of your work. We may choose an internationally acclaimed agency or a smaller one. We may choose a huge publisher or we may choose a small niche company. One thing is for sure, we will never charge you for this service.
